Kym Marsh had 'lump' checked after concerned fans spotted it in Instagram photo

Corrie favourite Kym Marsh has reassured fans after receiving a flurry of concerned messages about a 'lump' in her armpit.

The actress and TV presenter shared a picture of herself as she raise a kettlebell during her workout, and many followers pointed out that they could see what they thought was a lump.

"Lump get it checked," said one.

"You have a lump in your armpit," said another.

Kym, 44, said it was muscle but went to get it checked out anyway, and she later updated fans.

"Just so you guys know... after the recent photo and people’s concerns over the 'lump' in my armpit, I went and had it checked anyway," she explained.

"It’s all good guys and is just a bit of inflammation to a muscle."

Showing her appreciation she wrote: "Thank you all for your concern xxx"

Kym, who is presenting the BBC One consumer show Your Money and Your Life with Watchdog and Rogue Traders presenter Matt Allwright, looked incredible as she showed how to be 'fit over 40.'

The grandmother of one, who played Michelle Connor in Coronation Street until last year, wowed as showed off her abs in a vibrant green 'mum in training' crop top worn with coral shorts and navy trainers.

"5k run in the park followed by a cheeky kettle bell session! Bring on summer fitness!!! #fitoverforty," she wrote.

Helen Flanagan, who plays Rosie Webster in the soap, pushed the button on flame emojis.

And one fan praised: "Could grate some cheese on those abs Kym, impressive."
