Kym Marsh 'freaked out' over 'intruder' during coronavirus lockdown

Kym Marsh was left startled on Saturday morning when an apparent premonition came true after she had a dream someone had opened the front gate to her home.

The 43-year-old soap actress had been dreaming that an intruder had made their way into her private grounds by opening the gate to her house.

The actress was then startled to discover the gate had indeed been opened during the course of the night while she slept.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, the ex-Hear’Say star explained all about her dream - and knocked back suggestions she could have left the gate open herself before she turned in for the night.

"So..something is freaking me out,” Kym began.

“I had a dream last night that someone told me that an intruder had come through the gate at the front of my house, the gate which is always shut,” she tweeted.

"When I came down this morning...the gate was open!!! It’s never just open! I’m freaked,” she exclaimed.

The tweets sparked a flurry of debate and discussion with Kym and her fans - with one suggesting Kym had simply opened the gate herself and then forgotten.

However she rejected this suggestion.

“No it’s always closed due to our dogs,” she tweeted.

“We have to check incase they get out and we did check,” she added.

Kym also clapped back at a fan who suggested the coronavirus pandemic would be worth panicking over as opposed to dreams.

“I am obviously aware of that, however some light normal conversation is allowed and a distraction. Surely we shouldn’t all just be discussing what’s happening?” the Corrie star wrote.

“Trying to lift spirits and lighten moods is good for mental well being,” she added.
