Kym Marsh replied to a fan who asked if she had botox after she posted a photo of her flawless complexion in lockdown.
The 43-year-old actress denied having the treatment, used to temporarily paralyse the muscles, after a fan bluntly put the question to her.
The former Coronation Street star was flooded with compliments after posting a photo of herself wearing winged eyeliner and lipgloss, joking that she had forgotten what her face with makeup looked like while staying at home.
"Actually bothered to put some makeup on!!! "Forgot what my face can look like, as recently it looks like it’s fallen off," she said.
"Have you had botox or is it filter you're using?" asked her follower.
And Kym fired back with a crying-with-laughter emoji: "Well if I had botox it would have worn off by now wouldn't it?"
"I didn't mean it as nasty just generally intrigued as your skin looks so smooth and wrinkle free. Awesome," said the fan with a thumbs-up.
"You’ve always been a natural beauty Kym," said another fan.
"You are going more beautiful with age," another told her.
"Your skin always looks flawless," said another.
Earlier this month Kym explained her living situation in lockdown after being reunited with her man Scott Ratcliff.
She shared a photo of herself enjoying a Mexican night at home with her soldier beau, her son David Cunliffe and David's girlfriend.
To head off any criticism at the pass Kym explained that the group were living in lockdown together.
She told her followers: "Mexican night with my gang! And before anyone says anything.....we are all in lockdown together!!! "Such great food, homemade cocktails and fun!!!"
The previous week Scott, a major in the army Parachute Regiment, hit back after being accused of breaking lockdown restrictions to be with Kym after returning from tour in Afghanistan for the past seven months.
Kym is also in lockdown with her youngest daughter Polly, nine, while her eldest recently Emilie is with her partner Mikey Hoszowskyj and their baby boy Teddy who recently turned one.
