Kylie Minogue says breast cancer ruined her chance to have kids

Kylie Minogue has blamed her battle with breast cancer for ruining her chance to have kids.

The pop superstar says she's accepted that she'll never become a mum and says it was her health battle that altered the course of her life.

Kylie, 50, was diagnosed with the disease aged 36 and and says it "changed everything".

She told the Sunday Times' Style magazine: "Realistically, you're getting to the late side of things. And, while that wasn't on my agenda at the time, it changed everything.

"I don't want to dwell on it, obviously, but I wonder what that would have been like.

"Everyone will say there are options, but I don't know. I'm 50 now, and I'm more at ease with my life.

"I can't say there are no regrets, but it would be very hard for me to move on if I classed that as a regret, so I just have to be as philosophical about it as I can."

She added: "You've got to accept where you are and get on with it."

Kylie is now dating GQ boss Paul Solomons, and admits she's finally found a relationship that feels right.

She goes on to admit she regrets "lying to hsersef" about some of her previous relationships.

"I regret lying to myself," she explains.

"Like, 'This is OK', and doing the merry dance. When that honest bit inside of you knows, but you're busy covering it up? I regret doing that.

"It's not fair on yourself... But I don't see myself doing it again."

She's previously dated French actor Olivier Martinez and British actor Joshua Sasse, to whom she was engaged until their split in 2017.
