Kylie Minogue 'in secret talks for $120million residency in Las Vegas' like Adele

Kylie Minogue is reportedly 'in talks for a major residency in Las Vegas'.

The Spin Me Around hitmaker, 54, is rumoured for a 12-week run in Sin City, somewhat mirroring Someone Like You songstress Adele.

Sources say everyone is "hugely excited" for the comeback gigs as the Australian popstar is thought to have received offers from Planet Hollywood and Caesar's Palace.

The latter of course being home to Adele's current tour which was postponed at the beginning of this year as the show "wasn't ready".

Insiders claim record label Sony BMG is reportedly liaising with partners and Kylie's teams for potential spin-off deals following the rumoured $120million (£100m) performances.

"While Kylie may not have a huge profile Stateside, she is an absolutely massive draw for the Brits," claimed an insider talking of the reported residency.

"She has a cult gay following especially, and it's felt she will easily draw in the pink pound."

"Kylie visited a few venues in the summer, and numerous meetings have since been held," the source told The Sun. "It's a no brainer for Kylie - easy money, and no touring. Everyone involved is hugely excited about the prospect."

The Mirror has contacted Kylie's representatives for a comment.

It comes after Kylie revealed she had "quite a bit of pressure" put on her to appear in the finale episode of Neighbours earlier this year.

She opened up about the highly anticipated star-studded finale to send off the long-running Australian soap after it was axed.

Kylie found fame on the soap as Charlene Robinson alongside Jason Donovan, 54, who played Scott Robinson.

Appearing on the Late Night With Seth Meyers show in June, the singer discussed her early days on set of the Australian soap after she clinched the role in 1986.

She said: "We’re finishing the show and there was quite a bit of pressure for me to go back, so I shot my scenes back in Australia."

Kylie credited the show with her enormous success as a musician, saying that its popularity "exploded" while she was involved.

She said: "I was only in the show for two and a half years, but it's when the show exploded. England just went crazy about it, so it’s been with me ever since."

"You’re in people’s households, the show was played twice a day," she recalled.

She added: "People would bunk off school, change their office hours, because who ever knew how to set the VHS."
