Kylie Jenner to cover Jesus Guerrero's funeral costs after sudden death at 34: Reports

Kylie Jenner has reportedly stepped in to support the family of her longtime hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero, who passed away unexpectedly over the weekend.

The reality star and beauty mogul is covering funeral expenses and helping transport Guerrero’s mortal remains back to his hometown of Houston, Texas, states a report on TMZ.

According to the report, Jenner learned of Guerrero’s passing early Saturday morning and spent Sunday with his family, offering them assistance and extending her support during the trying time. The reality star and the hairstylist had been working together since 2019 and developed a close friendship. Guerrero also featured in many of Kylie's social media posts.

News of his sudden passing was confirmed by his sister, Gris, who created a GoFundMe page to assist with funeral arrangements. “It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven,” she wrote. “Born and raised in Houston, TX to immigrant parents, Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top. Unfortunately, his passing came very suddenly and unexpectedly."

In less than 24 hours, the fundraiser had raised over $54,000 of its $60,000 goal.

Guerrero had also styled Hollywood A-listers like Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry. Shortly after news of his demise broke online, tributes poured in from Hollywood stars including Kim and Khloe Kardashian. Kim shared on her Instagram Story that her “heart was breaking” for her sister Kylie. Khloe echoed the sentiment, calling Guerrero’s passing “an incredibly deep loss.”

Actress Jessica Alba also reacted to the heartbreaking news, posting, “We love you @jesushair,” alongside a white heart and dove emoji.

The cause of Guerrero’s death has yet to be revealed.

Following Guerrero’s passing, Kylie also skipped an appearance with her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet at the SAG Awards on Sunday. The actor, who won the Best Actor award for the 'Complete Unknown', attended the do with his mother as his date.
