Kylie Jenner sued by chef

Kylie Jenner is being sued

Kylie Jenner is being used over a chef who alleged her workload led to her suffering a miscarriage.

The beauty mogul is already the subject of legal action from two other former employees and is now facing a third suit after an unnamed woman alleged in a complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court this week that she was subjected to lengthy shifts and "high-pressure" tasks, despite her supervisors being aware she had a high-risk pregnancy.

Documents obtained by People magazine told how the chef - who was three months pregnant when she was hired in November 2024 - claimed she suffered a medical emergency just a few weeks into her employment after being asked to "transport heavy food items across the street and uphill."

After "choking and gasping for air" and requiring help from security, the woman was allegedly "reprimanded" for upsetting her famous boss.

And on 1 February, 2025, the filing tells how the chef was working at a birthday party for one of Kylie's kids but was allegedly not offered "adequate support" and was ignored by supervisors when she asked for help.

The documents stated: “Due to exhaustion and overwhelming physical strain, [she] broke down emotionally in the bathroom during the event.

“That evening, [she] experienced extreme physical exhaustion and heaviness throughout her body as a result of the prolonged and intense workload.”

After suffering a bleed the following morning, the woman drove to hospital and was told she had tragically lost her unborn child.

When the woman later informed supervisors, she claimed she was “falsely accused" of "leaving the kitchen and refrigerator in disarray following the Palm Springs event."

The following week, the chef was hospitalised again after haemorrhaging and later agreed to relocate to New York.

Her employers claimed her "communication about her medical condition and relocation" was "a voluntary resignation despite [her] intent to remain employed," but she alleged she was informed on March 14, 2025, that she was "removed from the Kylie Jenner household assignment," with March 31 her final day.

The woman later accused management firm Tri Star - who are co-defendants in the lawsuit - of "discrimination, harassment, retaliation, pregnancy-related mistreatment, accommodation failures and wage violations."

The lawsuit alleged she was sent an email offering a settlement and a release agreement in May 2025.

The complainant's lawyer, Della Shaker, told People magazine: "Our client's decision to come forward was not made lightly. She hopes that sharing her experience will encourage others facing similar circumstances to know they are not alone and that the law provides protections for every employee."

The chef is seeking damages, back pay, front pay, lost wages, lost earnings and lost employment benefits after suffering "severe emotional distress, anxiety, depression, humiliation, mental anguish and other damages."
