Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s romance was doomed due to an inability to commit fully to the relationship - says the reality star’s grandmother.
Esther Jenner - mother of 70-year-old I’m A Celeb Caitlyn Jenner, and 22-year-old Kylie’s gran - has been blabbing away about her granddaughter’s failed romance.
Kylie and rap star Travis, 27, were in a relationship between 2017 and 2019 and welcomed daughter Stormi Webster together in February 2018.
While the reason behind the breakdown of Kylie and Travis’ romance has been a mystery to most, it seems nana Jenner has revealed all.
“I was sympathizing with Kylie a short time ago about the breakup with the baby’s father [Travis]," she told The Sun.
“Kylie just smoothed over it real quickly, [saying] ‘We’re both going to be good parents to her’ like in defence almost,” she added.
Sounding like a bit of a traditionalist, Esther proclaimed she thinks Travis should have proposed after knocking up her granddaughter and fears today’s youth don’t take relationships seriously enough.
“Young people today, they think they can live together, start a family together, without being married, it doesn’t work!” she said.
Kylie and Travis’ surprise split was announced in October - amid a flurry of speculation that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had gone running back into the arms of ex-boyfriend Tyga after her romance with Travis ended.
Taking to Twitter in October, Kylie confirmed she had split from the father of her daughter - but rejected rumours she was back with Tyga (real name Micheal Ray Stevenson, 30).
“The internet makes everything 100 times more dramatic than what it really is,” Kylie tweeted.
“There was no ‘2am date with Tyga’. You see me drop two of my friends off at a studio that he happened to be at,” she insisted after photos of her arriving at Tyga’s music studio went viral.
“Travis and i are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi our friendship and our daughter is priority,” she added.
Kylie’s father, Caitlyn Jenner, is currently starring in ITV’s reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
She is one of the show favourites among fans - and Kylie and her older sister Kendall, 24, have taken to social media to declare how proud they are to see Cait compete on the long running reality show.
