Kylie Jenner 'refusing to answer calls from Kris amid billionaire lies scandal'

Kylie Jenner has blacklisted her own mother and is blocking her calls as she tries to fight her way out of the tax fiddling scandal that erupted after Forbes magazine kicked her out of their billionaire club with allegations she lied about her wealth.

The 22-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has become engulfed in scandal after Forbes magazine alleged she had been dishonest about her wealth to boost the appeal of her make-up company, Kylie Cosmetics.

The company was sold to beauty giant Coty for $600 million last year – giving the brand a value of $1.2 billion as a result – but the financial magazine has since declared there are inconsistencies in the way Kylie’s wealth was presented.

The reality star’s mother and manager, Kris Jenner, 64, has been accused of helping Kylie to fake her way to billionaire status.

But now Kylie is said to be ignoring phone calls from her mother.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Kris – who reportedly gets ten per cent of Kylie’s deals – is in panic mode.

“Kylie won’t answer the phone to Kris and is at a loss over who to trust.

“Kris is petrified Kylie could sack her or cut her off so tensions are at an all-time high.”

The latest family drama comes after Kylie feared her brand could be forever tarnished by the scandal.

Denying the accusations made by Forbes against her, Kylie tweeted on Friday: “I thought this was a reputable site. all I see are a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions lol. i've never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. period.

“Even creating tax returns that were likely forged that's your proof? so you just THOUGHT they were forged? like actually what am i reading.”

She went on to instruct lawyers to demand a retraction from Forbes over their allegations.

On Friday, the share value of Coty tumbled by 13 per cent after the scandal broke – putting additional pressure on the struggling beauty giant which had already seen its value drop due to the coronavirus pandemic.

While legal experts have warned Kylie could face jail if allegations she was dishonest about her tax returns are true.
