Kylie Jenner mercilessly mocked as she trademarks Rise and Shine after it goes viral

Kylie Jenner has been slammed on social media for her latest money-making move.

The Kardashian sister, 22, trademarked her latest viral phrase "Riiiise and Shiiine", according to documents obtained by The Blast.

After hearing the news, fans have mercilessly mocked the young billionaire on Twitter for her copyright attempt of the now popular phrase.

Her application says that the now viral phrase will be used on clothing and cosmetics, but she also applied to copyright an alternative spelling of "Riiise and Shiiine".

One unimpressed fan shared: "I'd like to trademark " Kylie Jenner " and also "Reality TV" and all deviations thereof."

Another made a joke aimed at the entire Kardashian-Jenner family. "Someone needs to stop them or soon they'll trademark Sun and Earth," it read.

A third added: "I just trademarked Good Morning."

"@KylieJenner stop trying to profit off of literally everything. You have enough money. You don’t need to trademark a phrase. #RiseandShineIsNotYours" a fourth frustrated fan penned.

Despite the trademark application, Kylie is raking in profits for the song.

Her online store The Kylie Shop offered a $65 hoodie baring the new phrase, but it recently sold out.

The clip emerged when Kylie sang briefly to daughter Stormi in her Kylie Cosmetics office, and it blew up across the Internet. That's all it took.

She's already in talks with pop-star Ariana Grande to sample the viral clip that has given her the spotlight.

The business mogul took it to the extreme on Thursday morning as she posted a picture of her face posing as the iconic sun from the Teletubbies.

"No caption needed," she joked.

But she's using this opportunity to her advantage, as the star has now released a collection of hoodies with "Riise" and "Shiiinnee" penned on the sleeves - with her own face as the sun.
