Kylie Jenner Leads All-Black Guest Looks at Jordyn Woods' Wedding

The dress code at Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns' Malibu wedding was all black, and guests took it literally.

Kylie Jenner produced the night's most reported look: a black halter-neck dress with large cutouts through the bodice, joined by crystal-set belts, and a thigh-high slit. TheFashionSpot identified it as vintage Roberto Cavalli from the label's spring/summer 2004 collection. That attribution has not been confirmed by Jenner or a stylist.

Jenner arrived with Timothée Chalamet, who declined the formal read entirely. He wore a black leather jacket over a blue checked button-down, without a tie, with black trousers.

The second designer identification came from the wearer herself. Victoria Villarroel, Jenner's former assistant, posted video from her drive to the ceremony showing a 1997 black sequined gown from the Gucci archives.

Hailey Bieber wore a halter dress with an embellished bust, described by Page Six as a sparkling halter silhouette. Justin Bieber wore a black suit and tie.

Jada Pinkett Smith took the most literal approach to black-tie, wearing a column gown with a bow tie built into the neckline. Teyana Taylor went heavily beaded.

Justine Skye wore a form-fitting gown with a sweetheart neckline, documented in a photo carousel she shot along the coastline. "Love Island USA" alum Olandria Carthen posted her corseted gown to her Instagram Story on Sunday.

Also photographed in black: Michael B. Jordan, Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor, Gayle King, Keegan-Michael Key, Jaden Smith, and Knicks players Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart with Ali Brunson and Shannon Hart.

No designer credits have been released for any of these looks. The two attributions above are the exceptions, and both point to archival pieces rather than current-season collections — the Cavalli by way of a fashion outlet's identification, the Gucci by way of the wearer's own post.

The all-black rule did the structural work the couple presumably wanted. It made Woods' white gown the only light in the frame and turned the guest list into a single continuous field of black against the ceremony's white floral arrangements and the Pacific behind them.

It also loosened up after the ceremony. Guests left the after-party in black hoodies reading "Married in 5," a reference to the Knicks closing out the San Antonio Spurs in five games to win the NBA Finals in June.
