Kylie Jenner backed chemtrails conspiracy theory about plane fumes controlling minds

Kylie Jenner is without doubt one of the world's leading influencers.

She's been named the ' youngest self-made billionaire ' by Forbes thanks to her lipkits, and even managed to invent her own child's name .

But even she isn't adverse to putting her personal queries out there sometimes - particularly when it comes to wild conspiracy theories.

The youngest member of the Kardashian klan bewildered her followers back in 2015 when she tweeted an unexplained picture about chemtrails - a theory that claims the white, puffy vapour coming from jet planes is a government ploy to control our minds.

Kylie’s 2015 conspiracy-loaded tweet sparked an interest in the mysterious chemtrails, bringing them straight to the mainstream.

The badly punctuated post left all her fans puzzled, particularly because of the lack of caption.

The picture posed bold questions like; “WHO THE F#*% THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?”, and was later retweeted by Kylie’s older sister, Kim, proving she isn't alone in her unusual thinking.

But what are these cloud-like trails? And are the Kardashian girls right to be suspicious of them?

The chemtrails theory insists that the government is using chemicals in order to control the earth.

Each chemtrail conspiracist has their own version of beliefs, however, the premise for these theories go from 0-100, ranging from vapours that control the weather, to secret government environment poisoning operations, and even a way for them to control the population's minds.

Chemtrails have been a longstanding conspiracy theory, with many convinced of their reality, but are they really some kind of government scandal?

Research conducted by the University of California and the Carnegie Institute have attempted debunking these claims by running a survey among atmosphere experts.

The results concluded that 76 out of the 77 scientists had never encountered any form of government chemical control system, however, the one scientist who disagreed sure spurred on these wild theories.

And it’s not just celebrities who are sceptical about these puffs of steam.

Suzanne Maher, a Canadian anti geo-engineering activist, rejects all research. She is the founder of anti-chemtrail group Bye-Bye Blue Sky, and is a strong believer in the conspiracy theory, aiming to eradicate both chemtrails and geo-engineering.

Suzanne claims that chemtrails have only appeared in the last 20 to 30 years, a statement that has been dismissed by many due to picture depictions of vapour trails from the Battle of Britain.

However, Suzanne and Kylie aren’t alone in their beliefs, with the chemtrails search accumulating over 600,000 YouTube videos, the public must be intrigued.

A video entitled Chemtrails, Here is your PROOF 100% Real MUST WATCH, published in 2014 by YouTuber Alex Alexander, has 1.9 million views and offers an explanation into the "damaging" effects of chemtrails. The video agrees with Suzanne's point of view, stating that chemtrails didn't appear until the late 1980s.

And with the chemtrail theory still going strong, another government control conspiracy has crept up in the US, and it's all to do with the newly introduced 5G.

Conspiracists, many of the same ones that believe in chemtrails, are now claiming 5G - the updated version of mobile network 3G and 4G - is causing multiple health issues such as cancer and learning disabilities in children.

This has, too, been debunked as another conspiracy, but many are still convinced of the government's control techniques.

Kylie is yet to speak out about 2015's ambiguous tweet, so keep your eyes pealed for her next chemtrail conspiracy.
