Kylie Jenner accused of throwing Balmain 'into chaos mode' with no-show

Kylie Jenner has been accused of sending Balmain 'into chaos' despite reports that show bosses 'begged her to reconsider' after announcing she was cancelling.

The Balmain show during Paris Fashion Week was meant to promote a multi-million dollar makeup deal with the billionaire's Kylie Cosmetics brand.

The 22-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star cancelled her appearance at the show, at the last minute, despite agreeing to apply makeup to the models and appearing on the catwalk during the finale.

The reality star was meant to be Balmain’s artistic director of makeup and was due to sit front row at last Friday’s show.

There was also an agreement that she would take the final bow on the runway, alongside Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing.

There was a makeup meltdown though when instead of arriving at 7.30am for the show, Kylie revealed that she was going to be a no-show.

She had reportedly checked into a Los Angeles hospital instead as she was suffering from flu-like symptoms.

Kylie apologised to Balmain on social media, saying: "I’m heartbroken.”

It would seem that this didn't sit too well with those working on the show, who took aim at Kylie for the ensuing "chaos" she caused by he last minute change of mind.

Speaking to Page Six, an insider said: "They’ve been working on this deal with Kylie for over a year. It is huge, worth millions and millions of dollars.

"When Kylie cancelled at short notice, Balmain went into meltdown. The entire team at Balmain were in chaos mode because they lost the star of their show.

"They were devastated and begged her to reconsider, but she didn’t.”

The insider continued to reveal that the plans "had been in the works for over 12 months.”

Kylie has continued to share her brand on her social media and officials at Balmain are reportedly hoping that their deal will still be a success.
