Kylian Mbappe names who he wants to win Liverpool v Real Madrid Champions League final

Kylian Mbappe has admitted he will be Real Madrid’s 'biggest fan' when they take on Liverpool in the Champions League final this weekend.

The forward’s admission comes at the same time as he sensationally snubbed a move to the Santiago Bernabeu. Mbappe has long been linked with a move to Real. But the 23-year-old has turned down the chance to join Madrid and instead opted to sign a new three-year contract at Paris Saint-Germain, ending months of speculation over his future.

In the past Mbappe has also been linked with a move to Liverpool, who face Real in the Champions League final in Paris on Saturday.

And the France international will be backing the La Liga giants to come out on top.

Mbappe said: "I can imagine their disappointment. I will be their biggest fan in the Champions League final in Paris. My home."

While on staying at PSG, Mbappe added: "I would like to thank the president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, for his confidence, his attention and his patience.

"I also have a thought for all of the PSG supporters, in France and around the world, for their countless shows of affection, especially in these last few months."

Spain's La Liga reacted angrily to the news Mbappe was staying at PSG, calling the deal 'scandalous' and announced it plans to file a complaint to UEFA as well as French and EU authorities over the move.
