Kylian Mbappe named world's most valuable player amid Liverpool transfer speculation

Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has been named the most valuable player in the world.

Mbappe, 21, is having another remarkable season with Paris Saint-Germain and has scored 18 times in all competitions.

The France World Cup winner continues to be linked with a transfer though amid reported interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid .

But if his transfer valuation is anything to go by, they will have to cough up a world-record fee to land him.

CIES Football Observatory have taken a look at the most valuable players in each of Europe's top five leagues - Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1.

He finishes ahead of England and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling (£190m) and Liverpool's Mohamed Salah (£149m).

Fellow Anfield hero Sadio Mane also finishes in the top five alongside Jadon Sancho.
