Kylian Mbappe confirms he will be at PSG next season 'no matter what'

Kylian Mbappe has ended any speculation surrounding his future by vowing to play next season with Paris Saint-Germain.

The France forward joined PSG in 2017, initially on loan before a reported £130 million permanent move a year later.

The 21-year-old has shone this season alongside Neymar and Mauro Icardi, completing a deadly front three for Thomas Tuchel’s side, while scoring 30 goals in all competitions from just 33 games.

PSG are now preparing to face Atalanta in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, having eliminated Borussia Dortmund in the last 16, though Mbappe is also excited for his fourth season in the French capital.

“I’m here. I am in the project for a fourth year,” Mbappe told beIN SPORTS.

“The 50th year of the club is an important year for the club, the supporters, everyone, so I will be there no matter what.

“I will try to bring back trophies with the team and give the best of myself.”

Mbappe is already sharpening up ahead of the Champions League's return, having scored after 53 seconds in a 4-0 friendly win over Celtic on Wednesday.

Neymar, Ander Herrera and Pablo Sarabia also scored with the game against Atalanta set for 12 August in Lisbon.
