Kyler Murray sets another franchise mark in win over Jags

It is only his third NFL season, but Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is finding his way into the franchise record books. He did it again on Sunday in the Cardinals’ 31-19 road win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The stat comes from Cardinals VP of media relations Mark Dalton.

He completed his last 11 passes in the game, finishing with a completion percentage of 82.4% (he was 28-of-34 passing for 316 yards). That was a career-best in a game for Murray and the third-highest completion percentage in a game in franchise history.

He was 29-of-36 passing in Week 2 for a completion percentage of 80.6%, meaning he had back-to-back weeks of completing over 80% of his passes. He is the first player in franchise history to do so.

Murray surely is going to have a few more franchise firsts before it is all said and done.
