Kyler Murray says leg is fine, will definitely play vs. Rams on Sunday

While the Rams are losing players left and right, the Cardinals are gearing up to be at almost full strength for the season finale in L.A. Kyler Murray’s status was initially in doubt after coach Kliff Kingsbury said he has a leg injury that could limit his availability, the quarterback left no question as to who will be under center Sunday.

Murray said Wednesday that he will definitely play against the Rams in Week 17 and that his leg is fine. Murray exited Sunday’s game with a lower leg injury but details weren’t given on the severity of it.

Murray threw for 173 yards and three touchdowns in his first meeting with the Rams this season, a 38-28 loss by Arizona. He was completely contained on the ground, rushing for only 15 yards on five carries.

The Rams did an excellent job against the elusive quarterback, picking him off once and forcing two fumbles, one of which he lost. Los Angeles is just about fully healthy on defense, but the offense will be missing Jared Goff, Darrell Henderson, Cooper Kupp and possibly Cam Akers.
