Kyler Murray’s pro day goes well despite no 40 and no measuring

Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray said he would run the 40-yard dash and be remeasured for his height at his pro day. On Wednesday, that didn’t happen.

Murray did not get remeasured and he did not run the 40. He did weigh in again at 205 pounds.

Other than that, things went well.

He threw the ball well. He did what he was supposed to. Nothing that happened should have changed any opinions about him.

Here are some comments from those who watched:

NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah:

Charlie Casserly called it an “excellent workout.”

No one was willing to say he locked up the top pick in the draft, though.

The Arizona Cardinals had representatives in attendance to watch not only Murray but other prospects from Oklahoma, but their top brass did not attend. Team president Michael Bidwill, GM Steve Keim and coach Kliff Kingsbury were not present, not that it means anything.
