The Arizona Cardinals played well in their win over the New York Giants in Week 14 and quarterback Kyler Murray had his best game in a while. His play in the passing game was better than the previous few games.
Touchdown Wire’s Mark Schofield included Murray’s performance among the five most notable of the week.
Another team that really helped themselves this past weekend is the Arizona Cardinals. Not only did their win over the New York Giants move them back into the final playoff spot, but their offense got on track in the win. Kyler Murray completed 24 of 35 passes for 244 yards and a touchdown, and the offense looked more in rhythm than it had in the past month. Murray looked noticeably more comfortable making different reads on Sunday. He did not turn the ball over and made a couple “wow” throws as well.
If he can play how he did against the Giants over the final three games, the Cardinals will be in good shape to make the postseason for the first time since 2015.
