Kyler Murray’s measurements are in

Two of the biggest questions in NFL combine history have been answered as the measurements for Kyler Murray are in. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Heisman winner measured in at just over 5-foot-10 and was weighed in at 207 pounds, both of which are solid figures for him. He also had a hand measurement of 91/2 inches.

Murray, 21, is a player who has been heavily associated with the Jags with the draft nearing because of their obvious need at quarterback. ESPN’s Todd McShay and NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah are just two of many to come out to say that the Jags have potential interest in the young signal-caller, but time will tell if that’s truly the case.

The Jags’ thoughts on Murray was probably concrete before his measurements, but it’s still good to know his height and weight from a fans perspective. In guessing, he’s still a long shot to be a Jaguar when the draft is all over for the simple fact that Tom Coughlin values traditional size at the quarterback position. However, Murray could sway them in interviews and prove his commitment to football, which according to him, is a non-factor.

Unfortunately, fans won’t get to see Murray perform in any drills until Oklahoma’s Pro Day, which takes place on March 13. In all probability, NFL Network will air the event being that Murray is viewed as a first round talent at the quarterback position.
