Kyler Murray makes donations to victims of recent shootings in hometown

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is quietly helping out in the aftermath of a tragedy in his hometown of Allen, Texas.

There was a shooting on Saturday in a mall in Allen, leaving eight people dead.

Among the victims were Cindy, Kyu and James Cho. Cindy and Kyu were parents of James, who was three years old, and William, the only survivor of the family at six years old.

A GoFundMe was started to help the extended family who now will take care of William.

Murray made the largest donation of $15,000.

The page, which had a goal of $50,000, has raised more than $1.8 million.

Murray also donated $10,000 to another GoFundMe related to the shooting.
