Kyler Murray is tired of your baseball questions

Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray used to play baseball. Everyone knows that by now. Like Russell Wilson and Patrick Mahomes, it appears his background in baseball has influenced the way he throws a football.

He is also tired of being asked it.

A reporter on Monday asked how his baseball background helps him in football.

While the question was being asked, Murray looked towards the team’s media relations guy who was in the room and said, “I’ve had to answer that question like 80,000 times.”

He realized the microphone picked it up, apologized with a “my bad” and then said succinctly, “It helps.”

Murray is unique in his skill set. However, the question has been asked dozens of times by local reporters. It is understandable that he might be tired of addressing it.

Will the reporters know not to ask the question? Perhaps the local ones, but it definitely won’t be the last time he has to answer the question.
