Who’s feeling lucky?
According to B/R Betting, Kyler Murray is the betting favorite to win NFL Rookie of the Year.
If you feel like putting down a nice wager, a bet of $100 on Kyler Murray to win Rookie of the Year would net you an extra $175 dollars in profit if he were to win. A bet of $1,000 would see an extra $1,750 dollars if Murray takes home the trophy.
Someone that could potentially spoil the big payday and also provide a nice payout is Chicago Bears 3rd-round rookie running back David Montgomery from Iowa State University who sits at +1000. With the trade of Jordan Howard, the Bears lack a traditional downhill runner as Tarik Cohen is best served in the passing game and former Seahawks running back Mike Davis isn’t exactly a special talent. If the rookie has a good camp and preseason, he could very well find his way into a pivotal spot in the offense to dominate touches.
In other betting news, the Cardinals open up as a preseason favorite against the Los Angeles Chargers at -2.0 according to Oddshark.com but are a regular-season underdog against the Detroit Lions at +2.0 (Cardinals are also a +115 money line underdog).
