Kyler Murray impresses vs. Vikings

After struggles against the Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray bounced back nicely against the Minnesota Vikings.

After playing one series against the Los Angeles Chargers and four against the Raiders, he was on the field for five possessions against the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday.

He did not get the Cardinals in the end zone but they generate three scores, all on Zane Gonzalez field goals.

Murray completed 14-of-21 passes for 137 yards, good for a passer rating of 84.8. He also rushed for 12 yards on three attempts. He was sacked once.

He showed off his arm a bit. His throws were on target. He had an absolute beauty of a downfield throw to Damiere Byrd for 33 yards. He made a perfect back-shoulder throw to KeeSean Johnson.

He showed his athleticism and his ability to get the ball away quickly.

His play should get Cardinals fans excited again for what Murray will do as a rookie.
