Kyler Murray had a priceless reaction to Tramaine Brock’s dropped interception

There’s a reason why defensive backs don’t play wide receiver, and the Arizona Cardinals learned that the hard way on Sunday.

After storming back from an 18-point deficit in the fourth quarter to force overtime, the Cardinals seemingly played for the tie when head coach Kliff Kingsbury elected to punt with just over a minute remaining. And even after that questionable (and somewhat cowardly) coaching move, the Cardinals should have won.

All cornerback Tramaine Brock had to do was catch a football. He did not.

With just seconds left in OT, Matthew Stafford threw an ill-advised pass that Brock read perfectly. The Cardinals defensive back should have made the interception and either stepped out of bounds in field-goal range or returned it for a game-winning touchdown.

Instead, he dropped the pass, and Kyler Murray understandably couldn’t believe it.

Murray and Christian Kirk completely lost it as the ball slipped through Brock’s hands.

The Cardinals and Lions would tie, 27-27. Murray finished the game with 308 yards and two touchdowns on 29 of 54 passing.
