The Arizona Cardinals will have their two most dynamic offensive players back on the field against the Chicago Bears in Week 13. Quarterback Kyler Murray, who missed three games with a high ankle sprain, and receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who missed the same three games with a hamstring injury, are both expected to play, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Schefter reported Saturday night that Murray is expected to start. It sounded like that all week.
Schefter also reported that Hopkins is expected to play, but he will have a more limited role. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury spoke of “being smart” with Hopkins. Because of the cold, the expected rain and the layoff, he will be probably limited to a snap count. Just having him as part of the offense will change how the Bears defend the Cardinals, so he will still have an impact.
It isn’t a perfect scenario but things look good for both players as the Cardinals gear up for the final six games of the regular season.
