Kyler Murray excited to throw the ball to roommate Hakeem Butler

The Arizona Cardinals have an intriguing group of offensive rookies from their draft class from last month. Obviously, the one who gets the most attention is quarterback Kyler Murray, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.

Another is receiver Hakeem Butler the 6-5 fourth-round pick out of Iowa State.

The two are roommates and Murray is excited to have Butler as a throwing target.

At the NFLPA Rookie Premiere, ESPN’s Matthew Berry spoke to Murray.

“I’ve never played with a WR that size before,” he said. He knows that he will be able to throw the ball up and Butler will be able to come down with it.

Berry, who is a fantasy football authority, believes Butler has high potential in 2019. If he can crack the rotation and if Murray is excited to throw to him, then he could have some big games.
