Kyler Murray brought breakfast for first day of OTAs with veteran teammates

Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray started things off with his veteran teammates on the right foot at organized team activities on Monday. He brought breakfast.

Offensive lineman Justin Pugh told ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss the details.

It wasn’t just doughnuts. It was a variety of breakfast foods.

Pugh, of course, had to point out how the rookie could improve for another time.

Murray recently signed his rookie contract with a signing bonus of more than $23 million. With that new money, he will be expected to foot the bill for a number of things as a rookie.

He took the initiative first, which will go a long way to win over his teammates.

Ultimately, it will be his play on the field that will earn the trust of his teammates. But winning them over in the locker room with food is a good way to earn their trust before the season begins.
