Kyle Wootton dreams of promotion after sealing permanent move to Notts County

Kyle Wootton hopes he can finish what he started after sealing a permanent move to  Notts County by helping the club seal an instant return to the Football League.

The Magpies sealed a deal for the forward on Wednesday after paying an undisclosed sum to Scunthorpe for the forward which is believed to be around £60,000.

Wootton has been a huge hit at Meadow Lane after initially signing on loan from the Iron which has seen him become the club’s top scorer with 12 goals.

It has helped Notts soar into the National League playoffs and he is now hoping  Neal Ardley’s side can continue their impressive form and return to the EFL at the first attempt.

“To hit 12 halfway through the season is great, but the most important thing for me is to keep winning games and aiming for that promotion push,” he said.

“We are heading in the right direction.

“We are seven unbeaten in the league at the minute and just have to keep that up until the end of the season.

“I won’t want to give my goals target away, but I hope to increase it and that we can finish with a promotion.”
