Kyle Van Noy reportedly signs with Dolphins and Patriots fans show love for him

Kyle Van Noy will no longer suit up for the New England Patriots.

The 28-year-old linebacker agreed to a massive four-year, $51 million contract with the Miami Dolphins. He spent four years in New England and collected two Super Bowl rings as an essential part of the team’s defense. Van Noy will go down as one of Bill Belichick’s best trades, coming in from Detroit in 2016 for a second-round pick.

He accumulated 16.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, 21 tackles for loss, 35 quarterback hits and 221 tackles with the Patriots. Van Noy’s charisma and energy during his tenure was contagious, leaving Patriots fans appreciative — and a little sad.

Here’s how Patriots fans and reporters reacted.
