Police are continuing to urge members of the public not to approach a missing 29-year-old, who was last seen in a "distressed state of mind" in Belfast.

Kyle Swift was last seen in Belmont Road area of East Belfast at around 5.30pm on Sunday, October 31.

He was in "a distressed state of mind," police said, before adding that they 'urgently' need to locate him.

In a renewed appeal, officers released an image of Kyle Swift, along with a warning reminding members of the public what to do if they see him.

In a statement released on Monday afternoon, November 1, PSNI said: "We urgently need to locate 29-year old Kyle Swift, who is currently missing.

"If you see Kyle, do not approach him. Call police immediately on 999, quoting reference number 2084-31/10/21.

"Please do not report sightings by commenting on this social media post."

Kyle is described as being 173cm / 5' 8" tall and of large build, with brown coloured hair. He is believed to be wearing a grey tracksuit and carrying a blue ruck-sac.
