Kyle Rudolph says Garrett Bradbury fits Vikings system ‘perfectly’

We haven’t played any real games yet, but so far, Vikings first-round pick Garrett Bradbury appears to be fitting in quite well.

The 18th-overall pick is expected to start at center, and has impressed Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph.

“He’s really, really intelligent,” Rudolph said via ProFootballTalk. “But he’s a great athlete and he fits our scheme perfectly. Going up against guys like [defensive tackle] Linval Joseph is a pretty good barometer of how you’ll match up in this league and he’s more than held his own.”

So far, everything we’ve heard about Bradbury throughout the offseason has been incredibly positive, which is kind of how it should be.

But the Vikings need this to be a hit for GM Rick Spielman. This offensive line was a big reason why the Vikings missed out on the playoffs last season and in order to make it in 2019, this unit will need to be improved. That starts with Bradbury.
