Kyle MacLachlan's social media pages have become quite the destination for entertainment – and, as it turns out, unexpected home decor inspiration.
Take one of his latest TikToks, wherein he is drinking wine in his kitchen: my eyes were instantly drawn to his green extractor, an unusual yet aesthetically pleasing choice that also happens to be giving us some extractor hood ideas.
The forest green shade serves in perfect contrast to the white-painted brick walls, all while providing a point of visual interest that otherwise may just serve as a functional part of the kitchen. It's also further proof that the green kitchen is here to stay.

According to experts, painting an extractor is one of the best ways to add color to a kitchen, as it's just unexpected enough to have an impact, while still looking aesthetically sound.
