Kilmarnock's Scottish Cup ambitions have been dealt a blow after in-form Kyle Lafferty was struck down by injury.
The big striker is not among Tommy Wright 's squad for Monday night's quarter-final clash with St Mirren at Rugby Park.
Record Sport understands Lafferty has a foot issue that's ruled him out of a huge match for the club, who have described the problem as "minor".
Wright's set are bidding to reach a first Hampden semi-final since beating arch rivals Ayr United en-route to lifting the 2012 League Cup.
Kilmarnock head into the tie having built momentum in the race to beat the Premiership drop with Lafferty a key man in their improved form.
The 33-year-old's 11-minute first-half hat-trick earned the Ayrshiremen a vital league win over Dundee United last Wednesday.
They now sit five points clear of bottom side Hamilton and two above Ross County in the play-off spot.
Lafferty also netted four times in two Scottish Cup appearances, including another treble away at Stenhousemuir in early April.
Killie square off with Jim Goodwin's Saints at 7.45pm in the final tie of a gripping round.
The competition has been blown wide open after Premiership champions Rangers were dumped out by St Johnstone following a dramatic penalty shoot-out at Ibrox on Sunday night.
Hibs and Dundee United had earlier booked their place in the draw, set to be made after full-time at Rugby Park.
