Former Rangers and Hearts striker Kyle Lafferty has revealed he turned down a move to Romanian side Sepsi.
Lafferty has been a free agent since leaving Serie B side Reggina in January and was briefly linked with a move back to Tynecastle while Hamilton and Dundee were also reportedly showing interest.
However the 33-year-old, who has played in England, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey and Sweden over the course of his nomadic career, had agreed terms with Sepsi, according to Prosport.
However, the Northern Ireland cap has now knocked back the move to Romanian Liga 1.
In an interview with Prosport, Lafferty said: "In football, details make the difference.
"We did not agree on some issues and we were forced to decline the offer. I am sorry that I did not reach an agreement, I was ready to come to Romania."
Lafferty is best known in Scotland for his time at Ibrox and Tynecastle, but has also turned out for Sion, Palermo, Caykur Rizespor, Sarpsborg, Sunderland, Burnley, Birmingham and Norwich.
The forward wouldn't rule out any offer that is put on the table from across the globe.
Laffert added: "I am a professional footballer and I am willing to play wherever I want, if there is the possibility to have results, to achieve performance in one way or another."
