Kyle Lafferty has joined Kilmarnock on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
The former Rangers striker has linked up with Northern Ireland compatriot Tommy Wright after leaving Italian side Reggina in January.
Lafferty was on the lookout for a new club as he rejected a move to Romanian side Sepsi earlier in the week.
And he now returns to the Premiership as Wright makes his first signing as Killie boss.
Wright took over from Alex Dyer and will be hoping Lafferty's track record and wealth of experience in Scotland's top flight will drag them out of a relegation battle.
The Rugby Park side are languishing at the bottom of the table as Wright's tenure began with a 1-0 defeat to Motherwell midweek.
Lafferty won six trophies during his first spell with the Ibrox club, before rejoining Steven Gerrard's side after a stint with Hearts in 2017.
The talisman has also played for the likes of Norwich City, Sunderland, Palermo and Swiss side Sion.
