With the Los Angeles Lakers only having six guys under contract for next season, a good amount of turnover is expected this summer.
Apart from LeBron James, almost everyone on the current roster has been involved in trade rumors and it’s possible — if not probable — that their names will pop up in the rumor mill again this summer.
Until that happens, though, Kyle Kuzma took to Instagram to share that he’d still like to have Lonzo Ball as his teammate next season:
The two former first round picks blossomed nicely together at the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer league in 2017 and have been connected ever since.
Due to injuries they only played 45 games together last season going 25-20, but the Lakers had plus-10 net rating when they shared the floor. It’s nice to see their continued chemistry off the court, and the development on the floor will be a big part of the Lakers’ playoff hopes next season.
