Kyle Kuzma on LeBron: ‘He’s been super motivated this offseason’

LeBron James issued his own warning on Thursday to those who have been ‘playing with the throne’ but his teammate Kyle Kuzma, who has trained with him and spoken with him throughout the offseason, echoed that warning in more than one way.

While he took to twitter to support the King, Kuzma also expanded on his view of what he thinks will be a big season for LeBron James during an interview with ESPN’s Cari Champion. Kuzma said that the ‘slander’ directed at James has motivated him to work even harder than before.

“This offseason, you see just people slandering his name and saying this about him, saying that,” Kuzma said. “But you know, he’s been super motivated this offseason, working. Between shooting movies he’s in the gym. He’s in the gym early, night, whatever. So just being locked in. That’s the biggest thing … being ready for it all.”

James announced on his twitter page that ‘ether’ was coming for the rest of the league next season. The Lakers are certainly expected to be better next season after cashing in their chips for Anthony Davis, but a deep Western Conference is poised to be the biggest test for LeBron and company, no matter what Kuzma says in August.
