The Lakers-Pelicans rivalry could become one of the most exciting in the league next season following the blockbuster Anthony Davis trade and the arrival of Zion Williamson in New Orleans – and it didn’t take long for the trash talk to begin in the offseason.
Kyle Kuzma had been linked in trade speculation both at the deadline and again this offseason, but was one of the very few pieces of the Lakers young core that will remain in Los Angeles to team up with Davis. Kuzma’s soon-to-be ex-teammate Josh Hart said in an interview with Bleacher Report that while he’s close friends with Kuzma, he’ll be trying to “bust his [expletive]” on the court.
Kuzma responded on NBA Draft night with a savage response, referencing Hart’s nascent career as a Twitch streamer.
