Kyle Kuzma has his own story of LeBron’s frugality

LeBron James has copped to it many times, but the people in his orbit have always admitted this when it comes to The King: he’s notoriously frugal.

Brian Windhorst tells the story in his new book LeBron, Inc. The Making of the Billion Dollar Athlete that teammates would get annoyed when James played music in the weight room, because he refused to pay for the premium version of Pandora that didn’t have commercials.

Well now thanks to Kyle Kuzma we have another story of LeBron’s frugality. According to Kuzma, the last time the two went out to dinner, LeBron made Kuzma pay even though he’s still on his rookie contract.

LeBron James counts Warren Buffett as a personal friend, so he’s definitely getting good advice with his money, even if it can be a little inconvenient for those around him.
