Although the Los Angeles Lakers are clearly in position to lose games in order to tank their way to a better draft pick, they will actually get better on the court when they face the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night.
According to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, the Lakers announced that Kyle Kuzma will make his return from an ankle injury on Tuesday.
Kuzma injured his right ankle in the closing moments of the Lakers loss to the Clippers last week, a loss that essentially put the nail in the coffin on their playoff hopes.
Nevertheless, the Lakers should have an easier time generating points against the Bulls with Kuzma in the lineup. Kuzma gives James one more offensive weapon, which the Lakers are pretty low on at this point in the season.
