On a day where many of the media members who cover the Washington Redskins were able to first talk to some of the newest players acquired by the team this offseason, quarterback Kyle Allen was up to the plate.
After being traded for a fifth-round pick, Allen is now in Washington with much of his former coaching staff, including head coach Ron Rivera, and offensive coordinator Scott Turner. He discussed a number of things on the conference call with media members, including what it was like to watch Rivera be fired by the Panthers, what his plans are for competing with Dwayne Haskins for the QB1 position, and how his experience with Turner’s offense gives him a leg up in the competition.
