Kwik Trip and Culver’s are recruiting J.J. Watt back to Wisconsin

The Green Bay Packers might not need to court J.J. Watt back to Wisconsin if both the No. 1 convenience store chain and No. 1 fast food franchise are going to do most of the work for them.

Kwik Trip and Culver’s, two Wisconsin-based companies, both took to Twitter to help convince Watt to come back to his home state and sign with the Packers.

Kwik Trip noted the 17 locations in and around the Green Bay area. Culver’s pointed out that the state of Wisconsin has 142 restaurant locations.

The Houston Texans released Watt, a native of Pewaukee who starred for the Wisconsin Badgers. While with the Texans, Watt was an eight-time All-Pro and three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year. The two sides parted ways on Friday.

Speculation about Watt returning home to play for the Packers has dominated the weekend.

The fit is almost perfect. Watt is dying to play in a Super Bowl, while the Packers have a need along the defensive front.

Watt will have many suitors. But could he really pass up the chance to play for the Packers and live near so many Kwik Trip and Culver’s locations? When courting Watt, Green Bay might have a couple of aces up their sleeve.
