
Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met on Wednesday with Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibeh and his accompanying delegation at Bayan Palace.
They discussed the improvement of cooperation between the two countries.
Mohamed Hammouda, a spokesman for the Libyan National Unity Government, said on Facebook that Dbeibeh’s visit to Kuwait "comes within the prime minister's efforts to unify the Gulf position on Libya, and to strengthen the relationship with all Gulf states on the basis of mutual respect.”
Dbeibeh is also expected to visit the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia as part of his Gulf tour, Hammouda revealed.
Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah attended Wednesday’s meeting at Bayan Palace.
