Kuwait’s Emir Leaves US Hospital after Completing Medical Checkups

Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah has left a hospital in the United States after successfully completing medical tests, state news agency KUNA reported on Friday.

The Emir’s checkups "showed reassuring results,” it said.

The Emir had postponed a meeting with US President Donald Trump planned for this week after being admitted to the hospital.

KUNA earlier said Sheikh Sabah would reschedule his visit with Trump.
