Kuwait Reappoints Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid as PM

Kuwait's Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Khalid. (KUNA)

Kuwait's Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Khalid has been reappointed as premier by an emiri order, state news agency KUNA reported on Tuesday.

Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al Sabah had accepted the government's resignation on November 14 and ordered it to act in a caretaker capacity until a new one is formed.

Sheikh Sabah had submitted the cabinet's resignation on November 8.
