Iran's Mehr News Agency, citing the Kuwait News Agency (Kuna), reported that Kuwait's ambassador to the United States, Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah, wrote to The Wall Street Journal's editorial board, dismissing the newspaper's report as inaccurate and unfounded.
Calling the allegations "utterly and completely baseless," the ambassador rejected claims that Kuwait had played any military role in the conflict.
“She affirmed that Kuwait has not participated in any military operations against Iran and has not allowed the use of its territory, airspace, or territorial waters to launch offensive operations,” the Kuwait News Agency said, citing the ambassador's letter.
