Kuwait Airways reschedules most flights after airspace closure

Kuwait Airways has announced that it has rescheduled most of its flights after the country's airspace was closed on Saturday, July 18, leading to disruption in flight operations. The airline has asked passengers to check the latest status of their bookings as the situation develops.

In a statement posted on X, the national carrier said most scheduled flights had been rescheduled because of the airspace closure.

The airline said it will send notifications and text messages to the phone numbers registered in passengers' bookings to inform them about any changes to their flights.

"Kuwait Airways announces to its esteemed customers the rescheduling of most flights due to the closure of the airspace today, Saturday, July 18, 2026," the airline said.
