Kuwait: 183 New COVID-19 Infections

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced 183 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of infections to 3,075 on Sunday.

The minister announced the death of one person who is an Iranian national.

The 57-year-old male had been receiving treatment at ICU and his death has raised the number of total fatalities to 20.

In his daily briefing, Health Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that 61 patients were in intensive care, 31 of them are in critical condition.

Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals reached 2,249 patients said the spokesperson.

On Sunday, Health Minister Dr. Basel AI-Sabah also announced the recovery of 150 patients, bringing the total to 806 recoveries.
